Golden Ski Weekend (Feb 15-18)

As mentioned at the fall orientation meeting, some BWJR members will be travelling to Golden during the coming mid-February school break. This is not an official club function but has become a tradition over the past few years and is a great opportunity to ski over the break on fantastic trails as well as spend some time with club members. Golden has fantastic nordic ski trails and is also home to the superb Kicking Horse ski resort, for those who also enjoy alpine skiing. Some of us will go drive out on Fri (Feb 15) and spend 2-3 nights in or around Golden (a range of accommodations can be found at www.tourismgolden.com )

Families are free to arrange their own accommodations and do their own activities for most of the weekend - we will gather for at least one day for a ski tour and also a group dinner. If you are interested in going, or would just like more details, please email me for more information (askarsga@telusplanet.net). It would be great to have you join us!
