Myron Dietz With 2011 underway, we're looking forward to the annual Lake Louise Loppet on Sunday March 6. As with previous years, we have reserved a number of rooms at the Lake Louise Hostel for our group to stay on the Friday night and Saturday night before the loppet. We will also have a dinner at the hostel on the Saturday night. More information about the dinner will be coming soon.
If you want to stay at the hostel, the rate is $30.36 per person per night. We have booked six 5-bed rooms, six 4-bed rooms, and two 2-bed rooms (total of 58 beds). To date, there are five 5-person rooms and the two 2-person rooms remaining.
If you wish to stay at the weekend, please contact me: Dave Rempel, email: dave_rempel@telus.net, or phone 403.995.9751 (home) or 403.616.1505 (cell)
Note that payment for the stay must be made by Sunday February 13. The rooms were booked up fast last year, so don't delay!

Hi Everyone,
There has been a slight change to the booking fees for the Lake Louise Hostel weekend to make it more fair for everyone. Since we have 16 rooms booked for our group, the rooms are essentially all 'private', so the entire cost of the booking will be split evenly on a per person basis.
This means the cost will be $60.72 total per person for the 2 nights, regardless of the room allocation.
Our booking has 6 5-bed rooms, 6 4-bed rooms, and 2 2-bed rooms (total of 58 beds).
So far, one of the 5-bed rooms has been taken, and 2 of the 4-bed rooms. One 4-bed room is taken for Saturday night.
I apologize for the confusion - this was due to some information that was missing from the original booking we made at the hostel. If you need more details about the Loppet weekend or want to reach me, please email me or phone 403.995.9751
Thanks.
Dave
30 Spots are left!
The 4-person rooms have all been booked as of today. One of the 5-person rooms has also been booked.
So there are 5 5-person rooms and the 2 2-person rooms remaining.
Just five 5-person beds left now. My wife Carolyn will be at tomorrow's lesson to accept payment from those who have booked already.
