Over the years, our members have shown an interest in budget accommodations which include cooking facilities, in Kananaskis Country, Banff and area. While to some this means winter camping, others prefer to stay indoors. Some of our regular stops are listed below:  
 
  
Alpine Club of Canada
The ACC has two "front-country" clubhouses with hostel/dorm type accommodation in Canmore, and Lake Louise. The ACC clubhouse in Canmore still has great rates for budget-minded skiers. Hostelling International memberships are recognized.

Hostelling International
Hostelling International has 16 hostels in Alberta, including rustic, budget accommodations in Kananaskis Country (Ribbon Creek) and Mosquito Creek. More expensive, resort-style accommodations are available in Banff and Lake Louise. All have cooking facilities, and many have family rooms.

Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge - Canmore
The Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge offers private lodge rooms with kitchens. Special rates are offered for participants in both the Rocky Mountain Ski Challenge and Mt. Sharkfest (see Useful Links, Loppets)
